🌿 About the Role
NIRCS is seeking a licensed social worker to serve as a flex-time consultant, supporting intake assessments, benefit coordination, and trauma-informed documentation. This role is ideal for a clinician who values autonomy, mission alignment, and making a rural impact—without the constraints of daily direct support professionals.
🔍 Scope of Work
- Conduct intake assessments for new clients (remote or onsite)
- Coordinate Money Follows the Person (MFP) transitions and funding
- Review SSA payee eligibility and HCBS documentation
- Provide trauma-informed consults for staff and guardians
- Track LOCE status and prepare audit-ready summaries
- Attend scheduled team meetings or compliance reviews
✅ Qualifications
- Licensed Social Worker (LMSW, LCSW, or equivalent)
- Experience with HCBS, SSA, and Medicaid systems
- Strong documentation and benefit navigation skills
- Respect for person-centered language and rural values
- Comfortable with hybrid workflow and secure digital platforms
